I remember the response of the amendment’s supporters was basically, “This just shows how evil the anti-ERA forces are, that they would use such absurd straw-men arguments. Of course nobody wants to draft women or legalize same-sex weddings or force bathrooms to be unisex.”

Now it’s forty years later, and Gramscian progressives like Obama are finally admitting that they wanted all these things all along. It just took this long for society to be ready for them. The Department of Education is mandating unisex bathrooms, the Supreme Court has decreed same-sex marriage to be legal, and the Senate just voted to expand the draft to include women.

Now think back to 2004 when same-sex marriage suddenly became the biggest issue in the election. Critics said that if we decide to re-define marriage to include pairs of men or pairs of women, then what’s to prevent someone someday from marrying a sibling, or a minor, or an animal? And the progressives’ reaction was basically, “This just shows how evil the anti-gay-marriage forces are, that they would use such absurd straw-men arguments. Of course nobody supports incest or pederasty or bestiality.”

I therefore predict that no later than 2040 the progressives will admit that of course they supported incest and bestiality and necrophilia all along, that anyone who disagrees is a bigot, and that any state that forbids these lifestyle choices should be boycotted.

Yes, the Programmatic Environmental Impact Study is cionmg back again. According to another alphabet organization NEPA of the US DOE, public meetings, like those held in January, 1011, will be held statewide in September of 2012. Another question is: Can the RFP come out before the PEIS?
